Utility payments may be made in person or by mail to Des Moines Water Works, 2201 George Flagg Parkway, Des Moines 50321-9943. Other payment options: Credit or debit card payments by calling DMWW; Direct pay by contacting DMWW to request a direct pay form which is also available at www.dmww.com; payments may also be dropped off at Pleasant Hill Hy-Vee, allowing 3-4 days for processing.
Garbage/Recycling/Yard Waste Collection - Provided by Waste Management Services. Payment for regular garbage/recycling collection will be made via your monthly water billing from Des Moines Water Works. A 95-gallon toter and a recycling bin will be provided to you; contact City Hall at 262-9368. Yard waste pickup is provided April thru November. Place yard waste in Metro Waste compost bags or lawn refuse bags with a Compost-It sticker attached. Pleasant Hill also offers the Premium Yard Waste Program available April-November.
