Summer will be here before we know it. Watch for news about activities and the summer reading program. There will be lots of new activities as well as old favorites. Have a great summer and stop in to your library!
Help us celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pleasant Hill Public Library! There are Happy Birthday pages available for children to color. And we are looking for your memories of the library through the years. All of the coloring pages and remembrances will be on display at the library.
Speaking of displays, stop in and see photographs and other memorabilia from the first 30 years of the library. Other events and activities are being planned for later in the year. Thank you all for your continued support!
The library will be closed on the following days: Sunday, May 13th, for Mother’s Day and Sunday, May 27th & Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day.
Attention teens: we need you! The library is looking for patrons ages 12-17 to form a Teen Advisory Board, to give input on everything from the books we get to the programs we put on. Watch for the announcement of our next meeting date. Bring your friends and have a say-it’s not too late to join!
The Library's Book Discussion Group needs you! The group chooses all of the books which will be discussed. It meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 7 p.m. If you are interested, the Library will supply the book for you.
E-Books are now available. Click on the WILBOR link to access not only e-books but also downloadable audio books. New materials are constantly being added. You will need to know your library card number. Contact the library, we will be happy to provide this to you!

The library catalog is now available online! Look for the link on the left hand side. In order to see what you have checked out, you will need to know your library card number. If you don't know your number, contact the library to find out. You can renew items or reserve library materials in the catalog. Look for the Library Catalog link, browse our collection and see what’s available!
RECYCLE PRINT CARTRIDGES
Help out your Friends of the Pleasant Hill Public Library by recycling your printer ink cartridges. Simply drop off used cartridges in the container at the library. For each one returned, the Friends receive $2. Please recycle and help the Friends raise money for your library!
DATABASES
Two other databases, Reference USA and Heritage Quest are available on computers at the library. Reference USA is a great source of information on businesses and people. Heritage Quest allows access to valuable genealogical information. Stop in soon and check out the information which is available!
