The Friends of Pleasant Hill Public Library

The Friends of the Pleasant Hill Public Library help the library obtain items and equipment for patron use which otherwise would not be available. The Friends are a 501c3 organization and contributions are tax deductible. They meet on the first Tuesday of every other month at 6 p.m. at the library, 5151 Maple Drive.

Among the items the Friends have purchased for the library are Books on CD, DVDs and computer equipment. Recently, several computers were purchased by the Friends for use by patrons at the library.

Each year, several pie sales are held at HyVee to raise money. Books are always for sale at the library with the proceeds going to the Friends. Each year, a membership drive is held in the fall.
